We’ve been working on a whole host of Discourse components to get this site ready for MVP and we’ve made them all Open Source so everyone can enjoy them. Here they are all are!
Firstly, we’ve rebuilt and expanded Sylvain’s wonderful Docuss plugin which allows people to put a Discourse forum into an external website. So they aren’t a link away but instead are operating together as one site.
For components here’s 4 i’ve built, and one existing one i’ve modified, over the past two weeks:
Mobile drag and drop for the Kanban component
Adds mobile compatibility to the Kanban component, something people have asked for years for.
Login redirect and Group page banners
Redirect new users to any page after they create an account, and put a banner on the group pages
URL composer templates
Allows you to put a pre-written template into the composer anywhere you want (previously it was only by categories). Also auto-opens the composer and some more advanced functions when combined with our Docuss plugin.
Sidebar Category Organiser
Allows grouping of categories in the navigation sidebar (another feature lots of people asked for ages for
